Xavier Lewis is a self-taught artist currently residing in Atlanta, GA. Born in a small city in Central Massachusetts, he began drawing as a child. In his formative years of 20-30 years of age, he spent time living, working, and collecting experiences around the United States. Locations he’s resided in include; Boston, Phoenix, Providence RI, & Los Angeles. His work acollected by learning to view stories through the lens of others. “We experience the beauty of life’s rollercoaster in both resistance & harmony, together. And that deserves acknowledgement.”

He rediscovered a love for visual arts later in his adulthood and began to self-study watercolor, then oil-painting from a technical perspective. In recent years he opted to for a couple of trips to Europe to become more educated in visual art history; Amsterdam, Paris, Portugal. After meeting other artists, studying under a classically trained oil-painter, and becoming more developed in his creative process, he decided to devote more time to creating work to incorporate his acquired technical skill with a balanced focus on storytelling, composition variety, and creative originality. – Xavier is currently spending his time working on his first 12-painting series (untitled).
